On our third day of spring break, we had a quick snow trip. First thing in the morning I called my good friend Christy and asked if we could come up for a visit. She lives just at the bottom of the snow level. She welcomed our self invitation. So I packed up the kids, grabbed our snow clothes and was on our way up the hill. The kids were very excited to go to the snow and even more exited to see the Holts. Christy and her family moved up that way just before Christmas and me and the kids have really missed them. When ever we have any kind of break at all Seth is begging me to get Abby to our house. They have been friends their whole lives and been in the same class every year. He really misses her. Anyways, we were all excited to be spending the day with them. Christy suggested that we start at the church up there so that we could play in the snow before it melted. The church had a great hill, perfect for the kids. There was enough snow to sled for quite sometime. It really started to melt just about the time that the kids were done. It was perfect. After sledding at the church we headed over to Christy's for a little while. The kids played in the playroom. Christy and I chatted. It was another great day.
